problem when trying to register

Mods, sorry to post it here but i can't find the proper place to post it.

I'm posting this here because I can't get on to the new forum with my existing user name "normandjose". When I enter it with my password i am told that my user name or password is wrong. Then when I select "forgotten password" I am asked for my email address. When I enter my email address I am then told it is not a recognizable email address. I have since registered with a user name of "joseandnorm" and my old password and email address but I would like my old user name and member status back. I have emailed webmaster as told to but have had no reply. Any ideas?

as per the sticky's etc, you need to re-register. Once you have done that with your existing details the mods will transfer your posts etc onto your new account.

and the Off-topic areas such as problem forum would have been the better place :)

I can't make anyone understand but it is when i am trying to re-register with my existing details that they get rejected. The only way I was able to get on to the new site was by registering as a new user.

Everyone has to reregister here as a new member. If you use your old username and E-mail address then we will go back and change your join date and post count.
