pc running slow

Hi,

I first noticed the prob when i went on the internet. Instead of the page running smoothly down it jitters and goes down in blotchs. Where as normally it runs smootly down the page. I went on word and other programs likr this and it happens on these as well. I have run a virus scan and used a spyware checker. But it still does the same. I also have very liitle running in the background.

Any ideas?

it would be easier for us to help if u could tell us ur os which anti virus program system spec and wot more is running in background!

have you updated your spyware checker and antivirus program?

you could also check that you have got dma enabled.

have you installed any programs or components recently?

you need to give far more info before a full diagnosis can be given, if one can be given at all.

what programs have you got running in the background?

what spec is your pc, and have you upgraded anything recently, either hard or software

ive got it sorted, i updated my g card and all is fine.
