hiya ..
major problem have advent 4401 laptop
was working fine then just went on black screen with _ in the top left corner ,, tried f8 cant get into anything .
when i turn on boots advent screen loads the black screen
tried battery out held 60 secs,, reseated memory ,tried taking mem stick out n charged over still nothing ,cant get into safe mode , had recently been on vga cable to tv , son said he left it on and was working and when he returned it only had ie and the recycle bin on the screen ???? he closed closed the lid now just above
