Anyone got a link to a decent guide on burning 360 games?...I have a modded 360 with the iXtreme LT+ v1.1. and want to dl and burn my own games.
I had a modded 360 ages ago and managed to burn a few games but sold it and lost touch with the scene.
I remember having to patch etc....and using imgburn to burn onto verbs but with the new protection etc i'm completely stumped?????

Just get hold of the latest abgx360, run your games through that before burning found here (http://abgx360.net/download.html), it will add ap25 patchs if needed. It also good to have SSV2 files instead of SSV1 if your looking to go online, guide here. (http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/topic/250577-patching-from-ssv1-to-ssv2/) Sometimes a game will come with SSV2 already or if its autofixed by abgx it may add SSV2, if it does no need to repatch.

To find SSV2 files look here (http://abgx360.net/verified.php) usually out here around when the games released. Once you have a verified rip, which is important if you want to be safe (well as safe as you can be) online. You can then burn, obviously image burn at 4x speed and preferably burnt on verbs (best quality media). And you should be good to go. Hope that helps

Found a decent guide on the net that walks through everything in a simple manner:

h**p://www.ixtreme.net/360-backups/abgx-tutorial-t5056.html (http://www.ixtreme.net/360-backups/abgx-tutorial-t5056.html)

replace ** with tt.

Can someone confirm this tutorial is the correct way to do the backups?

cheers

Yeah looks fine. If you download games done by scene release groups, they will be ready to go 99.9% of the time. There were 3-4 AP25 games that weren't patched properly but that's been sorted now. Then just load the *.dvd file in ImgBurn and burn away.
