capturing..music vids

im trying to capture some vids on my pc i have a tv card with satalite tv ..the icture is excellent ..but wen i capture and layback its nowhere near as good and i have it set to capture in highest setting ..any other software about to capture ???

For best results you should capture using virtualdub (with huffyuv codec installed) and then convert using TMPGEnc or CCE. The only downside will be you need quite a bit of hdd space since it captures in raw .avi format. However, I've been capturing for a while and that provides, by far, the best results I've seen.

If you use huffyuv then the AVI is not RAW. RAW = no codec. Still large file sizes though.
