Right basically I have the NTFS 0x00000024 error! It only happens when I try and burn dvds. And usually happens at about 80% completion. I've tried running a chdsk c: /f and it still comes up with the problem.
I have a 80 gb IBM hard disk
256 ddr ram (I assume theres no problem with it as I play plenty of games and do plenty of other resource intensive stuff with no problems)
1800 mhz AMD
I can burn endless numbers of cdrs in a row but one dvd and the fatal error comes up. I have been able to burn dvds in the past but half the time the system crashes. It's not only writing dvds either. I use nero and when doing a dvd to dvd copy the same error sometimes comes up when reading before writing.
Don't know if anyones a windows xp god but the location for the last error was (0x001902FA, 0xF9F113FC, 0xF9F110FC, 0x80510F15). I know that this is something to do with the address where the error occurred but don't really know what it means above that.
Someone please please help. I just bought a new fancy dvd writer and it's really annoying me that I'm wasting a fortune on dvdrs by them not burning!
