View Full Version : copying karaoke discs???

Jus wondering why when you copy a karaoke disk and play the copy u have made it only appears 2 recognize the audio tracks and the visual image is not placed?.......is there a special technique to burning these disks other than direct copy?

Ensure that the writer is capable of writing cdg ( most modern writers are ).
Use CDRWin or Discjuggler to do a disc copy ensuring that the CDG tags are active.
Before others jump on it I'll say that other programmes will copy CDG but I find the ones above have been the easiest and the best over the years.

i no you say most modern writers do cdg but i have found they dont most. use a plextor writer and i use cdr win or clone cd make sure in the burning progy you have highlited the cdg box or that would cause only the music to turn up if i new what writer you was useing i could help you more just ask and i will help best wishes

Colbol is correct, most modern writers write cdg, they wont read it without LDplayer.exe. I can recommend Audiograbbeer, CDRwin and Nero for burning, even at x24 they turn out ok.
