divx on the 360 ?

can you play divx on the 360 been trying to do it all day
downloaded latest updates but still wont play
if it can be done can someone point me in the right direction please

It supports v5 and later. Honestly though XviD is a better codec, more widely used, and supported on the 360 as well. Are you streaming them or trying to play them directly from the 360?

The problem is likely the codec used in that case. Grab GSpot (http://www.headbands.com/gspot/) and see what codec the working ones use vs the non-working ones.
