capture in mpeg?

i can capture tv on my pc in mpeg ...how can i put this on a dvd to play in my car dvd player ....

you should be able to burn an mpeg file to disk using nero, once you have authored it. try tmpeg encoder dvd author to make your vob files etc... nero now has version 6 available but you may find version 5.5 easier as it has a wizard.

my nero wont do it ive tried v6 and 5,5 says ..cannot create start
