vista help needed

hi, ive loaded vista home on a laptop a couple of weeks ago, but now its saying its not genuine, when it is because its my copy i have on my pc, i activated it and everything ran smoothly until now, any help appreciated

My guess is because the software was activated on your desktop, when you activated it again on the laptop, the MS activation server detected that and flagged it as not genuine. If you are moving Vista from the desktop to the laptop, I believe you will need to call MS customer supports.

The license stipulates that it is "Genuine" only if installed on one computer at a time.
One license per computer.

It is not valid to install the same copy on more than one computer at a time.

so even though i own a legit copy, i am not allowed to install it on another pc in my house. no wonder everyone hates M$ they have us over a barrel.
