Enhancing your dvd-movies with FFD Show

Not sure how many people will be affected by this as i think you baiscally need a pc hooked up to an hdtv (so wipes out everyone outside the US http://dvdrom-guide.com/forums/images/smilies/bawling.gif)

but found this article (http://htpcnews.com/main.php?id=ffdshowdvd_1) about using FFDshow to post process the output from a pc based dvd player

difference in quality is quite remarkable

I'm gonna give it a bash but doubt i'm gonna notice any difference on a 19" Crt monitor :rolleyes:

You can use ffdshow to post process anything. If it is an unsupported format (as in this case) just enable it for RAW video. If the format is supported by ffdshow it doesn;t matter as ffdshow checks to make sure it is only loaded once.
