Lost restore discs for laptop - Compaq CQ50-100EM

I've got a problem with my laptop and i've lost the restore discs. Thought I'd found the correct restore disc, but looks like it was for my PC - so now the computer won't boot and always loops into the 'restore' cycle.

I bought the laptop from currys about 1 3/4 years ago - Compaq Presario CQ50-100EM

Is there anyway to fix this / get new restore discs? It had Vista pre-installed :(

I would venture a guess that I would not be out on a limb if I recommended that you contact the PC manufacturer for such a query.
Compaq's web site should be your first point of contact.
