i know someone who bought a used 360 from game a couple of months ago and the 360 has just developed the rrod. the manufacture date is 11/07/2007 would i deffinately be able to send this off to ms if it turned out to be a ms replacement from say 2006? the lad can't be bothered , just wants some money and i know i can get it for between £50 and £60. it's a black elite with 120 gig hard drive , 1 wireless controller and power brick and video leads

Depends if the last owner registered it with M$, might be able to do it though. Get the serial number and try to register a repair online at xbox.com

game give at least a 6 month warranty, they should swap it out for a new one as long as the warranty seal is intact.
