Having always used the PS2, I saw a bargain at Sainsbury's for an X Box and two games fully boxed etc for £69.97:eek:

Now that I have it I need some advice..............

I'm in Edinburgh so who chips these locally??

What is the BEST/MOST RELIABLE chip??

How much should I pay inc P+P??

Is there anything else that I should get done to console??

Thanks in advance:)

i do em by post..........
chip all depends on what you want to do

soft mods are ok, but if they go wrong, are a ballache to repair

TSOP flashs are cheap, very reliable (more so than chips IMO, cuz less soldering) but wont allow you to go on xbox live!!

a chips a chip, as long as it has an up to date bios, all depends what features you want, some are mo complicated than other, but they all do the same, allow you to play backups, and go on xbox live (with chip turned off)

alladin advance, xenium (few bugs at the mo) smart xx etc, etc all good chips

could think about a hdd upgrade, allows you to store games on the hdd, and run them from there, they load much faster, and no discs to get scratched

hope this helps

p.s. (i only do TSOP flashs at the mo), oh and crystal casemods.............
