Im after a half decent printer. I currently have a Epson C44 but is just packed in.
Basically i am after a printer that is able to print as well if not better. I usually print high res dvd covers and like em to look half decent.
An added bonus would be a cd/dvd printer bit on it to.
Could u please suggest one and how much it and the ink will cost?
i need ink to be cheap as i do a lot of covers and have heard that the 6 cartridge type things end up costing a lot more than the regular 2 cartridge models.
Thanks all

Canon i865 is what you require! Top quality fast printer, prints Cd's/DVD's and the ink running costs are excellent. Have a look at the reviews, it beats all the competition hands down. I was looking at getting one myself but ended up paying £60 for a HP5150 from Office World. I don't do a lot of printing and couldn't justify the £130 for the Canon. If you don't want to spend £130 I can recommend the HP but it doesn't print direct to cd/dvd.

i also really like canon printers, they are faster than epson and better pic quality than hp. they also leave lexmark in the dust. i have an s750 which although a year out of date now, is still faster than all the epsons i have used at work, and they have all the top of the line epsons

The U.S. Model doesn't have the CD/DVD printing feature.:t_down:

If you are looking for something cheaper with Good Quality I would go for a Epson C64 or Epson C84. The inks are also cheap too!

I would put the Canon i350 above the Epson 64 on quality and cost of running from what I've seen the last 6 months if anyone is after a budget printer.
Compat inks are only aprox £1.70 for black and £2.00 for colour too and it prints awesome photos! :)
However if you are after quality the HP 990 cxi I bought s/h in el perfecto, mint condition for £22 a few weeks back at a comp fair is IMHO UNBEATABLE for an inkjet printer. Love them so much I own two! :D

Just got a Canon i865, much better for quality and speed than my Epson photo 900. Compatible cartridges cheap as well. Cost £126 from pixmania.com.
