Hi All
Have got an archos 7,want to put some hd movies on it but have tried and archos says theres not enough space left when i know theres 200GB left spare,ive head i have to break movies in to 2 as wont reckonize if it over 4GB can anybody tell me how i do this

I might be wrong here, but if the HD files are over 4gb, I imagine they are 720p or 1080p .mkv files, which you have downlaoded .
If this is so, I doubt very much whether the Archos would be able to play them, even if you could split them.

Yep, from what I read, the Archos 7 only supports up to DVD resolution with ASP L5 AVI, WMV and M-JPEG. Even much faster netbooks can't handle HD video without an additional HD decoder.

That's pretty good then. Make sure you have the driver for it. You can convert the FAT 16/32 to NTFS (http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb456984.aspx) volume to handle large files.
Edit: I'm sorry, it's not running Windows. Can you hook up an external HDD to it?
