Sata Card Wont Recognise Benq Drive!

I've bought an internal SATA card (VIA6421) and using the port directly opposite the rear of my PC case, but I just can't get the Benq drive to read in Jungleflasher. Just says that no ATAPI device is connected. In the past I have read from this drive and put firmwire on, on another PC in Dosflash32 and that worked fine, but I cant even get the drive to be discovered in Dosflash or JungleFlasher now!

Have tried all the Sata ports on the card, have sent Intro numerous times turning the drive off and on at different stages, tried all the ports, removed other DVD drive, but no dice! It doesn't get recognised in the bios either!

Also booted using NTFS4DOS and tried dosflash16, but same prob!?

Now tried iPrep, same problem!

Makes me think am I doing something stupid???

Also tried it on another PC that I have used to flash this drive before, but I can't get it to recognise this one what-so-ever either?

Could I have done something that makes the drive unrecognisable, but allows it to still boot games!?

Any ideas? I'm on Windows 7 if that makes a difference

Try moving the card to another PCI slot, or get a replacement card, or use onboard sata if you have it.

edit: just noticed you tried it on another PC. Very strange, it does sound like the drive itself that's the problem here.
