I have a liteon flashed with iextreme 1.51 fw. Obviously it cannot play the new wave 4 games. I do not want to play online. I have been told that there is a non stealth fw being developed.

I got some games from a bst member that were supposed to work on my existing fw but did not.

Can I get games patched to play on my current set up? Why are there no modchips being used anymore as this would be easier for the average person to update via dvd updates?

Any help would be appreciated or I can see myself getting another Wii console!

Regards
Paul:)

iX 1.61 is available for liteon drives now, it is not live safe.

There is also an iX 1.6 non-stealth available for liteon drives, again it isnt live safe.

thanks, Dylan.

Does the 1.6 non stealth work without a boot disc? I am hoping that it does. It seems that the wii people are more flexible (due to non online banning) and just patch their games to work instead of constantly updating fw.

Let me know about the non stealth version, please and would you be able to do it for me? I know it is impossible to predict but would the 1.6 non stealth perhaps be a future proof option for the next wave games?

Nonstealth works without the boot disc for all discs.

LT is due out very soon and will also load all discs without needing the boot disc.

I would recommend waiting a couple of days for LT rather than getting nonstealth flashed.
