I've downloaded a movie which is in the form of 2 folders,cd1 and cd2 (svcd I think). Each folder has a bin and cue file.
I've extracted these with ISO Buster to mpg format and merged them together with TMPGEnc but the audio is out of sync,is there a way to correct this?
The audio was out of sync before i extracted and merged.
The movie is 1.6gb but TMPGEnc DVD author rejects the file,do i need to convert it first with TMPGEnc to be DVD compatable ?
thanks
SVCD video resolution (and audio bitrate IIRC) are not dvd compatible specs. You will need to convert it first, or chance it and hope your standalone doesn't mess it up.
I've managed to correct a few problems with out-of-sync sound by demuxing and then remuxing the parts of the movie. Do this through the MPEG Tools menu option in TMPGEnc.

Thanks JS,i tried de-muxing and then re- muxing but its just the same so i'm going to leave it as it is.

I just drop the two separate mpgs into dvdlab, the prog then demuxs and transcodes. Then just link the two separate discs to each other so when one finishes it automatically plays the next one.
I only started this a month ago, and can do DVDs with menus, background music and scene selections, its quite an easy prog to get the hang of.
BTW - in Isobuster, did u select the 'extract but filter m2f2 frames' instead of just 'extract'?, use that for SVCDs

yes i selected 'extract but filter m2f2 frames' .
Roughly how long does it take you from start to finish to do a 2 movie multi using dvdlab ?

Using my PIII 850 with 512 ram, about an hour to hour and a half, depends if I do scene selection menus (which I normally cant be bothered to!)
