I can connect to live gold and see some of the content ( films etc) but a lot of the games wont load or download, looked on google at error codes and its either microsoft live servers being updated or my dashboard is out of sync and i should go to my dash and press yellow but this makes no difference, it was working fine yesterday.box is unchipped btw.
any ideas?

I take it you dont get any errors with a connection test to xbox live?

Does your system time/date match with what it should be?

Are you able to try any other profiles? even create a second silver account to test with?

Also is it always the same content or is it completely random?

Hello mate, cheers forreply ,
It seems to be hit and miss as ive downloadedacouple of demos when it connects and i can use last fm but it buffers quite a bit , although im on virgin 50 meg, not tried any other profiles ,i think the time and date match although ill have to check to make sure,
not sure if its an ip address config tho but feel it may be.

Possibly is

try setting the IP manually in the network settings for the xbox, set it something really high.

If your on 50meg im assuming you have a linksys wireless router so settings would be something like

IP Address 192.168.0.x (Choose a high number for X that is withthin the dhcp range of the router, try 120)
Subnet 255.255.255.0
Gateway 192.168.0.1

Also have you tried connecting the xbox directly to the modem? this will eliminate ANY IP conflicts. Remember and reboot yuor modem if you try this.

tried connecting straight to modem and rebooting and it works fine , showing all content and downloading demos as normal,
Have tried setting manually at higher address to avoid conflicts and it still plays up so def a router problem,
router is a belkin n1 wireless router.
