xbox 360 probs with gta111

i have 2 xboxes i have a copy of gta111 both have updated firmwareand the latest dashborad i think one plays it no probs the one that has a problem has a liteon drive with latest firmware when i put the disk in it comes up wrong format it says there maybe a update on line for this game but i don't have it connected as i think it may be bannned on line but sure what would the update be could it be a update for game or dashboard ? any ideas or solutions greatly recived

There was an update to add support for additional Xbox1 games ages ago. They were supposed to be released periodically but there was only ever one update as far as I know.

this is the game GTA III English it is a xbox 360 as its 7.28gb maybe its marked wrong whhen i downloaded it its liberty city do i still need this update as i can't understand why it plays on one console but not on the other

GTA III was an Xbox1 game.

Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City is something entirely different and it is a 4th wave game. You need iXtreme 1.61 which I don't think exists for Liteon. (I could be wrong) Alternately, you can use the 1 shot boot mode disc (activate.iso) to boot up the game each time you want to play it if you have iXtreme 1.6 or later.
