Macromedia Projector???

OK I have a file that is an .exe File its a Slide show that I need to edit.

When I go to properties and then Discription I get the following:


Company - Macromedia, Inc.
Internal Name - Projector
Original File Name - Projector.exe
Product Name - Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio
Product Version - 8.5
Do I need Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio to edit it. Also will it edit it now it is a .exe file.

What you need is the original .DIR file.

So even if I install Director 8.5 Shockwave Studio it will not help?

Is there some kind of converter or is it just a no win situation.

Director will not open/import the EXE.

Seeing as how you say it is only a slide show, I am sure that you could extract all of the images, then simply re-create it in Director.

Wouldnt know how. I think I will just give up on that.
