Xbox networking

OK so my 360 has been banned, and i'm looking at getting a new one.

I'll be getting it modded again, but i was wondering about networking it.

My existing xbox is hooked up to my home network via a wired connection. I'd like to keep it hooked up to the network because I stream movies from my pc to it.

I don't go on Xbox live so I was wondering if there's any way of keeping it wired to the router to work on the network but not allowing it to access the internet so I don't get banned again.

Most routers allow you to create filters for web access for specific MAC or IP addresses. Not sure if yours would have that feature but if it did you could just deny all external network access (The internet basically)

What model of router are you using?
