Device fails to initialise???

Hi peeps

My Desktop is not recognising my DVDRW and CDRW anymore??? No icons in my computer and properties states error as "device driver failed to initialise"???

Have uninstalled and reinstalled but still no joy??

Anyone have any idea what may be causing this??

Were does it give you that error? Do they apear in device manager? What is the error code if any? Have you tried uninstalling them and rebooting?

In device manager the device has a yellow exclamation mark next to it...

When I click on properties it states

"Windows cannot initialize the device driver for this hardware. (Code 37)

Click Troubleshoot to start the troubleshooter for this device."

have tried to uninstall and reinstall but same thing!!!

Were working fine last week and I cant remember changing anything!!

Can anyone help????

Its all good now - have sorted this prob out - required a fresh install but that seemed to do the trick!!
