360 has 2 Red Lights!!

As the subject says, can anyone give me some advice on solutions.


There seems to be alot of information on the web regarding it but many posting dont seem to make much sense or alot are advertisements posting to actual 3 RROD Fix kits.

Has anyone here had 2 Red Light issue and have you been able to resolve the issue.

The console is about good few years old, and out of warrantly, also has 1.51FW so any sort of returns to M$ i aint too fussed in doing or trying.

Any advice would be brilliant.

2 red lights indicates overheating or that the heat sensors are faulty. I've had a couple with that fault and never did get them fixed.

aww faulty heat sensor, that could be it then :(

the console does not seem to heat up at all, well it was a few weeks back, but have since had it apart and replaced the thermal compound on both CPU and GPU, i'd already done the X-Clamp last Christmas but all been going well until recently. if mp3boy aint got a fix them im flucked!

anyone else any ideas or experience with it?

My experience is mainly with the GPU overheating. If you are using bolts instead of the original clamps, make sure the sync is down on the GPU. If all fails gimme a shout and i'll take a look at it so long as your not in a great hurry :laugh:
