is there a way to update your xbox 360 without live

hi my xbox is banned and cant connect to live and its not been updated so it wont let me create a profile without the update is there anyway to do this by a disc

Do not know if this is what you are after but i had to do this update to play COD MW2 its the fall update

just put it on to a cd and it updates itself
