Hi Guys,
I've finally got it to work!! I still have a
little problem playing Final Fantasy
Crystal Chronicles. These are the loaders
I've tried:
Cubesoft + starcube 1.4
Cubesoft + starcube 1.3
Cubesoft + paradox 1.2
starcube 1.4
starcube 1.3
paradox 1.2
MGS Loader
ACL 1.4-1.2
GCL 1.0
When I tried to play the FF with these loaders
the FMV intro it keeps on glitching frame by frame.
Does anyone have any idea why? Any suggestions
as to what loader I should use? Please Help Thanks.

FMV is 'supposed' to glitch.
This is due to the BBA being locked at 10mbps per second.
...In other words you can't stream the data fast enough and u can't do anything about it YET.
...It's one of them GC streaming issues I'm afraid, nothing to do with your loaders.
If you can turn the music off this can help some games.

CRAP! Guess we all have to sit tight for now.
Thanks for the heads-up Bro. I did came cross
this thing that "SUPPOSEDLY" unlock the cap
but can't seem to get it to work maybe you could
give it a try. It's call bbadebug-0.1

The problem is that the loaders that stream the game across are only programmed to run at the 10mbps (half duplex if i remember right) speed that pso forces thebba to set to.
the "socalled" high speed port that the bba connects to only has a max speed of either 27 or 32 mbps (i forget which).
i have read of people making some slow progress but they are encountering massive data stream corruption at the moment

...Yeah I've used bbadebug and had my bba running a 100mbps, but its of little use other than this!!!

The statement above is incorrect :(
Its not the loaders that lock the data to 10mbps. I've already explained this, but heres more info...
...The speed cap is not just the bba its PSO, or more correctly SE*A.
SE*A never expected data streams to exceed 10mbps for online play so they wrote the software to cap at this level.
The "socalled high speed port" will run quite happily at 100mbps, its just the software thats stopping it at the moment!!
...We will get there in the end.
Enjoy :)

FFCC FMVs act that way; but the gameplay, which is the important part, is fine.
