Q re' MS repaired 360, latest FW and Wave 4's

Ok, so my 360 red ringed last night. It's going to MS for repair tomorrow. But now I don't know what to do about flashing the drive when it comes back?

I had a BenQ drive and old iextreme non stealth fw.

I have a whole bunch of old non stealth patched games that would cost me over a hundred quid to re-purchase.

As I don't play online, I carried on using the old iextreme fw - especially as it played wave 4 discs!

But when it comes back, will I still be able to get it flashed with old non stealth iextreme so that my old non patched discs work, my pacthed discs work and wave 4's work?

Anyeone know?

Chances are it will come back with the new lite on drives, which are unhackable at the moment.

Looks like the new drives can be done but they are being hush hush at the moment as they want to do the log thing again...

All the refurbs I've had back this month have been moddable LiteOn drives and in many cases still modded!

There is no non-stealth firmware for the LiteOn drives, your best option is to swap to a BenQ or Samsung and sell the LiteOn.
