hi guys, iv got a simple problem im not sure what to do about.
i have a small flash drive which, if i put a movie on i can watch a film thro my xbox no problem.
a friend has given me a small laptop hard drive which i can connect to my xbox via usb leads. iv put some films on that (it was formatted ntfs) but the xbox doesnt recognise it

NTFS is the problem. The 360 will only recognise drives that are formatted as FAT32 or HFS+ (mac format).

If they're divx etc films you can reformat the drive as FAT32 and it'll work but with a 4GB file size limit.

If they're WMV HD you'll need to get an app called MacDrive and format as HFS+ so you can put large files onto the drive, unless you have access to a Mac.
