IS there another firmware out for xbox360

hi guys im on 1.51 benq drive xbox30 i want to get it play wave 4 but people r already saying theres going to be a another firmware after 1.61 soon,cosi dont play on live is 1.61 worth getting now or hang on ,

ive patched cod mw2 to play on 1.51,but i cant get left for dead 2 to work it keeps asking for update.is this a game update or a dashboard update ?

If you don't play on live, don't upgrade - downgrade. 1.41 non-stealth will boot everything.

Left 4 Dead is probably a dashboard update.

Personal opinion here but modifying an ISO (Say to make it compatible with older firmwares) is far more dangerous than updating to 1.61.

I only say because bans started falling even before the 1.61 firmware was released and its almost a known fact now that the xbox stores information on the games and disks that have been in your machine.

Again purely speculation, no confirmed facts for now
