as it says peeps,i took my hdd outta my ps3 and i have put it in an icy box to use as an external hdd,the hdd is working fine but my lappy wont pick it up.
it picks up the usb device which is the icy box and it picks up the serial number of the hdd but thats it,is it cos its fat32???all i wanna do is use it for an external hdd, please bear in mind i use xp on my pc and am used to that,so its plugged into my lappy as my pc wont run it,but my lappy i had 2 days ago is vista,so dont know where half the crap is on it,if i goto device manager it picks up the serial number etc,but dont get anything else as in its not got a letter for the hdd in MY COMPUTER....

thanks

Some say that the PS3 file system is proprietary.
Some say it is a modified FAT32 file system.
Some say it is Linux.
Some say it is encrypted.

Either way it is not readable from Windows.
