DivX what? AVI? MKV? OGM? MP4? DivX is just a codec DivX != AVI.

By DVD do you mean DVD video? If so then this belongs in that forum. If not then you can simply burn as data.

Why bother ...just go to Amazon and buy a stand alone player that plays dvd vcd cdr cdrw divx and xvid as well as mp3....only £49...and you can get 4 or 5 divx movies on one dvd...excellent!

They only support AVI as a container though and don't fully support XviD. Some of them don't even fully support DivX. Personally I would not buy such a player until it had full ASP and mp4 support.

There is no point in attempting this anyway, the result will be extremely bad quality.
You cannot create DVD quality from downsampled source files.
