W32. Welchia B. Worm virus

Has anyone had this virus and was able to get rid of it? If so how? Is there a fix on MS's site?

I've gotten rid of the Sasser and a few other glitches but the Welchia still lingers. Thanks for any help at all... :)

Note: The computer infected with this is off-line now and I'm just helping a friend fix it. Thanks again...

Yeah, the computer looks to be new but hardly ever used since it was infected. The Sasser and the Welchia had it messed up but I took care of it and saved the setup so that's always good... :)

Welchia is not harmfull. Initially it is even considered a good worm. It was supposed to patch your system against the vulnurbility and delete itself.

But you wouldn't of had this problem if you either used windowsupdate/firewall/router.

That's the sad part... they didn't have a firewall on the thing. I just don't get it, why oh why...
