Whenever I click on a link within an email I have received using Outlook I get the following error message. "This operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this computer. Please contact your administrator"
I then have to press "OK" but still cannot open the link.
Any ideas how to stop this happening?
Thanks

Your group policy might have blocked the ability to external links.
If its a standalone PC, check the security options under Tools/Security.

Its a standalone and I do not appear to have a Tools/Security option in Outlook
I have Tools with other options but not security.

Believe or not, the error is actually generated by IE, pls see and follow link below
