iPod Question

Hi,

Just got my new iPod, and I heard you have to upgrade firmware to disable sound cancelling or something.

Mine is a 3rd gen

How do you do it?

There is a volume limiter on EU iPods, but I personally find the volume goes plenty loud enough.

That's the only thing I'm aware of that you may remotely want to play about with the firmware, but my experience is if it ain't broke, don't try and fix it.

If you honestly have a problem with the volume, I think I have a copy of the instructions around somewheres, I can try and dig them out.
