Hey folks I got a quesiton about printing the covers for dvds.
Do I have to open up the image under a certain program..(like Photoshop?)
or does it not matter?
Do I have to resize it or will it print out fine?
thanks.
i use expessit to print my labels i find it very easy to use. basically you use the drop downs to select the template depending on which type of label you require, and then import the cover image from wherever you have stored it and then play around with it to make it fit the guides and print. have a look at their site here http://www.medeainternational.com/pressit/ although you may find this from another source.
I hope this is of help.
good luck

i use coverxp (www.cdcovers.cc) it has loads of preset templates (audio front + back , dvd etc.) all you do is drag and drop ur image in the window and it resizes automatically

I use Sure Thing, loads of templates and easy to use, Nero also has a cover designer

Another vote for SureThing here. Best cover app I have ever used by a longshot. Simple answer to your question ... if you use a cover app, you will not need to resize it. OTherwise, it depends on whether or not the original image is the correct size.
