You can use upto PC2700 RAM with an FSB of 333. There is no 3600XP, but your board should take upto a 3000XP.

Fastest it will take is ddr400. You can however use ddr500, since it should give you better overclocking results. Seeing that you have ddr400 now, it really makes no sense to buy a faster speed of ram for the little you would gain.
Not sure I understand the 2nd question, Are you trying to overclock your 2600 to 3600 equivelent?

It should but, I think its pointless, unless you get a board that support dual channel memory or you overclock the existing one.

The AMD 3200xp runs at a FSB of 400, while your board only supports 333, according to the manual. Unless there has been a bios update to fix this, even if it will run a 3200, you won't get the speed out of it that you would with a board running at 400. Also the 3200 is the end of the XP line till you get to the AMD 64 chips, for which you will need a new mobo. There is little point in updating right now, unless your going to a 64 bit cpu, as the XP line is done. AMD has said they will stop releasing new XP CPU's this year and push the lower priced 64's for home use.
You can also get a low end 64 bit CPU for a little more than the 3200XP, at least in the US. Your Mobo is running out of upgradability. My 2 cents.
