You have to archive them into a pst file or you can make a personnal folder and moves everything in there...which will be a pst file. Save somewhere in a easy access location and burn it to cd.

Yup - so you need to export everything to file. In Outlook, go to File Menu, select "Import and Export ...", "export to file", select "Personal Folder File (pst) from the list. If you want to export everything (calendar, etc etc) select your personal folder and tick the "include subfolders" box, otherwise just pick the folders you want.

Move the file to the new PC and import using the same principles :)

if you are using outlook and not outlook express you don't even need to export, just search for the pst file it is usually located in

C:\Documents and Settings\"your user name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Microsoft\Outlook
