Please help with dvdflippers.

Hi. I am having problems with Schindlers List movie. I follow the forum tutorials on dvdflippers but still the movie is to big to fit into one dvd-r 4,659MB on automatic comprecion and only with English audio and no subpictures, what can I do? Thanks.

You could just always pass it through DVD Shrink again and shrink again to shave that small bit off. ;)

i think for big movie flippers dvd-rb/cce is the way to go- did it with goodfellas- came out bootifull- you could also do the re-encode in IC7/8 if you don't want the setup effort of dvd-rb

obviously any flipper to 1 sider mode is a movie only job but thats the price you pay i guess for convenience- and besides all flippers i've come across have very few "useful extras" in my opinion

Agree with you nimbles about CCE, though I have done a number that were DVD 5 flippers so not too bad really using DVD2one or Shrink.

However to do a DVD 9 flipper which I guess Schindlers List is (2 disc set in UK - PAL) in USA from what I hear is really, really pushing it and the quality would not be good trying to shrink what is in effect a DVD 18 to one 4.7GB DVDR.
