A strange one this but here goes !Two pcs (my two sons)and a similair problem on both in that they are both giving the BSOD.
PC 1: IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL STOP: 0x000000D1
C0X6B6C6542,0X00000002,0X00000008,0X6B6C6452
This error showed up after I had done a complete recovery of the system and was installing drivers for a wireless network card, on rebooting it returned the following: 0x10004710,0X00000002,0X00000008,0x10004710
I have tried replacing the RAM but this didn't work.
The second pc is similair though I haven't had the chance to get the error yet accept: IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL STOP: 0x000000D1
again I tried replacing the RAM but had no joy, any help much appreciated.

I should add that both pcs will boot into safe mode ! And both have wireless network cards installed although they are not the same make of card.

The IRQ_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL error normally is caused by bad RAM or bad driver. Since you've replaced the RAM without success, please tell the OS you're running and the make/model of the wireless card(s).

Both systems are running windows xp one is Home and the other is Pro, the network card on the Home system is Sweex and the other is a Belkin.

Do you know the model numbers of the cards ?

The sweex card is LC700050, I got the pc running but as soon as I installed drivers for this card I get BSOD.

Try uninstalling the driver, reboot the PC and install the latest driver from sweex here (http://www.sweex.com/service.php?sectie=drivers)

I have done that, when I installed the drivers an error message states the card is not working ! I uninstalled the drivers removed the card and connected a wireless USB stick, installed drivers and now get CODE 10 this device is not working.

Sounds like there are other things going on here ... maybe corrupted OS
When you say you did "a complete recovery of the system" , what exactly did you do ?

This one is a packard bell, used the recovery setup.

OK the second pc has a Belkin F5D6001.
I uninstalled the drivers removed the network card, the pc boots ok and runs fine. put the network card into another PCI slot reinstalled the drivers and it crashed bsod ! This time it returns the following :
Bel6001p.sys
address B1FI94B35
BASE AT B1F86000 DATE STAMP 3DC98D06
definately looks like these network cards are causing issues, strange that two machines give similair issues at the same time though :(

Further update, I reinstalled drivers for the belkin, everything seemed to go fine, then when I tried connecting to the network BSOD it all points to the network cards, I added a new router to my setup yesterday, though one of the machines was misbehaving before this, the second one worked fine though. I doubt this is the problem but who knows as I haven't a clue. I'm going to try changing the two cards round, as I don't want to buy a network card only to find they are not the problem, any further advice would be most welcome.
Update.....no joy the same BSOD after switching cards !

Since you've updated the driver per Phil's advice, let's update XP to SP3 (http://www.softwarepatch.com/windows/windows-xp-service-pack-3.html) if you've not done so.

Already had sp3 on, but I downloaded via the link and installed, rebooted without the network card it booted fine, powered down and refitted the net card, crashed on reboot BSOD once again :( this is a nightmare.
ps, thanks to those who have offered advice, I really do appreciate your help.

Try disabling the serial ports and the onboard NIC to release some system IRQ's and resources for the Belkin. Did you enable APIC in the BIOS before installing XP?
Also, try updating the chipset drivers for the mobo.

I set the bios to optimized, I haven't tried the chipset drivers, how do I disable ports or nic ? through bios I presume ?
Did you enable APIC in the BIOS before installing XP...not that im aware of .

Yep, the options to enable/disable the ports and the onboard NIC are in the BIOS. They're enabled by default. While you're in the BIOS, see if the BIOS gives you the option to set the system to run in APIC or PIC and whether it's set to APIC or PIC now?

Still no joy,
disabled onboard lan
enabled PCI card support for smbus(don't know why lol)
Apic was enabled with no option to disable !
Tried the two wireless cards both returned BSOD, the USB Wirless stick gives code (10) device not working.
been at this two days now lol I'm shattered .

You do not need to disable APIC. Please try this Realtek driver (http://www.realtek.com.tw/downloads/downloadsView.aspx?Langid=1&PNid=21&PFid=40&Level=5&Conn=4&DownTypeID=3&GetDown=false&Downloads=true) for the Belkin wireless card.

Ok loaded the above driver, and it worked for about twenty minutes, then BSOD again, I had it working for around 10-15 mins before I loaded the realtek driver so I don't think the driver is the issue, would it be worth my while buying a new network card or wireless usb drive (I'm thinking out loud here LOL) this is the strangest thing Ive seen and I've seen some crazy pc shít  once again thanks so far far all the help and advice

If you want to buy a new wireless card, get an N card. There might be a software on both systems that doesn't like the card(s).
Edit: Try resetting TCP/IP and repairing Winsock with xptcprep.exe (http://www.download3k.com/Install-XP-TCP-IP-Repair.html) . (Reboot needed).

Further update, went out this morning and bought a new wireless pci card, couldn't get the N-card no stock, so opted for a white box effort from Maplins £14.99 popped it in the pc and it worked straight out of the box  Now unless I'm mistaken, it seems both my old network cards have stopped working at exactly the same time, and I wasted two days of your(those who helped) and my time lol its early days yet, 10 mins it has been running so I'll reserve judgement for a while yet, fingers crossed  and once again thanks a lot for all the help given it is very much appreciated

Glad to hear it, bud! Probably there was a software you installed recently that didn't like the adapters. :)

Shít LOL I spoke too soon, nothing too serious this time though, the pc in the fisrt floor bedroom is now not finding my network (piggy banking at the min) yet the one in the loft is finding it fine, also my sons lappy is picking it up in the first floor room, I'm sure this is just a signal issue but anyidea how I should fix it, sorry :(
sorry I should add it was connected to the my network for a few hours, all I done was add Nod32 and epson drivers for the printer, it is finding other networks in my area.
panic over, I changed the Channel output and alls well again........sorry for the continuing saga, hopefully thats me all sorted

Please try the TCP/IP resetting tool in post #21. You'll need to reboot the system.
