I seen your other thread, its weird, Ive asked a few JungleFlasher developers to look in, initial thoughts were its a pre78 and you were using Classic mode.

Problem is, you said it was a v78. :(

definetley a 78fk , ive been reading the thread on DF where the 1.51 was first released and theres a few on there that had same problem but didnt give any info if they sorted it out .

cheers

think ill give it back to lee as im doing it as a favour and dont want to end up regreting it , he gave me his other sons 360 which had a liteon on in it and that went fine , took ages though as first i forgot to turn the power back on once drive half open , i thought the probe wasnt working so installed and reinstalled drivers etc , then once i did that i had drive other way round to guide so was probing the wrong hole lol but all worked out fine .

cheers ogs

I get the odd hitachi which does this and when I do I just use Toolbox to restore instead then use JF to flash.
Or if that fails try the DOS restore command..

Does that work on a v78?

restore.bat?

ill have a look at that over the weekend , if i did use tool box to restore do i copy over the firmware files to jf and then flash iextreme and then spoof .

cheers

if you restore with fwtb you should then be able to flash in jf as if it was an unmodded drive - select the port/drive letter, then the flash ixtreme option then spoof.

Something similar crept up in the support channel a short moment ago.

Can you dump the firmware using the "Dump Drive" radio button.

If so, could ou email me the f/w dump to my email address in my signature at BST?

Ogs - Never had problems restoring hitachi's with JF upto 1.55.(never used 1.59) now using 1.6 and have had alot playing up with it. Ie not letting me restore or dump then when I try using older jfs or toolbox it wont work in them either... this is on 3 pcs.

So, the versions that did work, dont any more?

What sort of errors do you get?
