how to connect to xboxlive wired connection

hi can some 1 help me out with connecting to xbox live via the back ov my pc with a ethernet card at the moment only way i can connect is by going via my virgin modem which is no good as girlfriend moans about no internet connection lol

If you have two ethernet ports on your PC or your modem's connected by USB, you can plug the 360 into one and the modem into the other then follow this guide:

The PC will need to be on for the connection sharing to work.
