for some reason i can not adjust the brightness in WMP9 when this movie is playing and it is to dark to see. any help here......

Could set ffdshow to handle raw video, then use it to adjust the brightness/gamma.

I tried using ffdshow, but i am not sure about all the settings, so all i did was under codecs, enable raw video, and then adjusted the gamma and it made it very slow and choppy and blocky......could you help me with the settings?

No such problems here, either with gamma under levels or picture properties.

What build of ffdshow? I am running Athos one from the other day (8th).

I would suggest that you try a newer version then.
