How do i disable XP email notifcation in the logon screen

Lo all

I need to disable the email notification thing in the xp logon screen (where it says you have 3 unread emails)

If anyone could point me in the right direction i would be great full

BTW i did do a few searches but as not sure what the function is called i didn’t find what i need

if you download a tool called Tweak UI from microsoft (only available on XP) from http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/pro/downloads/powertoys.asp i think it gives u the option to turn off mail notification.
