problem with canon ip4600 and vista 64 bit

just got a ip4600 printer and it will not work with vista 64 bit
tried the canon website and the only 64 bit driver is for the cd printing and not the printer driver
any one help me out please tried a search and cant find any
or ill just have to take the printer back

I saw the driver v2.21 for Vista x64 here (http://www.usa.canon.com/consumer/controller?act=ModelInfoAct&fcategoryid=184&modelid=17105#DownloadDetailAct). (Select the OS to see the files).
