playing hd files on 360

hi guys
i know you can play wmv-hd files on 360 but is there a way to play .mkv files or other hd files ie ps3 ones
is there a program to convert to 360 easily

Only way to play mkv is to convert it, ive tried lots of different programes for conversion but ive always lost too much quality for it to be worth bothering

is there no programs that can convert blueray rip to wmv-hd without loss of quality

hi lads having problems
i converted my flashdrive to hfs with mac drive and put a wmv-hd file
12gb
when i plug into front of 360 is dont see it at all in any of the 2 usb sockets
but whne i put i pc it sees it fine

any ideas

Did you make it HFS or HFS+? It needs to be HFS+ i think.

makey, format it (repair or whatever it's called) in macdrive and put it on again.

kept doing this on my drives at first then eventually it worked with me just doing the same thing, no idea why it was like that though :confused:
