Typical Rrod Today :(

alright Lads, was planning on taking my console to the folks house tomorrow to give me da a go on Call of Duty.

knocked Console on today for a blast on FIFA and doh! is dead.

it started off it loads ok, but then whenever try to get game going getting freeze and graphic issue.

Now the console is dead just getting RROD.

flashes 4 red at the start and then just sticks on 3 Flashing Reds.

anyone a Fix for this, im not that clued up tbh, bought the console from someone off a forum we all know, console is out of standard warrenty from April 2008, so i understand I am still covered by RROD Warrenty, BUT, can i just send the console back the way it is now or must changes to firmware etc be made?

So i have RROD, just wondering can this be sent back to MS for repair as it is, or must anything be done to it.. it is modded.

You take a gamble by sending it in modded - they repair some and send others back. Best to get it put back to stock firmware if you can.

you could always use the towel trick so that you could use it tomorrow then send it back to MS :)

Sent mine back just before Christmas with firmware done, new one arrived today all up and running as new, superb
