Watch Out for Faulty CK3 pros!

I ordered 2 of these from 2 different places and tried one today which I havent used before on a new pc and it kills samsung drives...

You can flash the samsung fine but when you pop it back in the 360 its constantly ejects and closes.

Have had alook about and theres a few which have been reported.

Tried evey combo on different pcs and its deffo the ck3,
Killed 3 old samsungs in the process..

Think im just going to use my other for reading keys and thats it.
Will use old style for everything else..

When I dont the samsungs it didnt kill all only some.

I did do a v78 on it and that went fine.

I think its something to do with using the on/off switch while doing sammys.

Ive been using my other ck3 for a while and it works A1.
Its just this other I installed on another pc.

CK3 lites are dodgy also, I flashed a samsung with status off and cant use my unlock method which involves power switch either.

Oh ok, easy enough to stick to doing it the old fashioned way, still easy.

So I think the bottom line is dont use them for flashing.
They just randomly bugger up drives...
Luckily not liteons...

Just use them for reading the keys...

And stick to old methods

If it aint broke... dont fix it!

Mine hasnt killed a drive yet, I just managed to DeviceID unlock it without power, so tried a flash and it worked.

I've been having this problem too. Thing is, it did it on a couple that were powered by a 360 base as well. I just assumed they were faulty drives - it's happened to about 1 in 10 of my new ones from china.
