either create an ntfs partition on your hard drive- or if you are on a network with a machine that has an ntfs partition- make a folder that is sharable on that machine - extract the iso/img to that (browse through network neighbourhood in the rar browser) use something like iso buster to extract the video_ts folder- or mount the image on the pc with something like daemon tools, and then drag the folder back to your machine- which i assume has the burner- usually the video_ts folder will only have vobs of 1gb max so you should be able to handle the folder even if it is larger than 4gb in total

hmmm.... not sure- i think it is possible but not recommended (better to do a clean reinstall with formatting in ntfs)
is your hd one big partition- if say you have system files on c: and crap on d: would be possible to format d:to ntfs-
but wait till someone who has done this can confirm it-i don't wanna be responsible for fubar'ing your pc ;)

not sure there is an iso tool that can work with rar files unfortunately- do you not have a mate with alptop running say xp chances are you could then extract the iso on his then copy the files back

This is gonna sound dumb but which OS are you running? Only Win2k and XP support the NTFS option.

Your best bet would be to create a new NTFS partition with Partition Magic 8 and leave the existing one alone or as mentioned, do a clean reinstall.
I converted a FAT32 Partition, with XP on it, some while back and ended up with major problems burning my MP3 files .... never really figured out why, but as Nimbles says ... it's possible, but not recommended.

Yup a clean install is your best bet. Backup all of your files to disc and then go re-format.

Be worth trying to convert rather than go through a clean install, Just to add i've used this method a few times and it's always worked for me.
From the command line type: Convert C: /fs:ntfs

No reason at all why it shouldn't work. Just that you will probably get better performance with a clean install.
