Can i use this to read a Liteon ? Max232 ??

Been reading up on these and understand i need a max232 /ttl converter.

I have one of these made to this spec from ages ago todo with ntl modems. Will it work ?

looks the same pinout as the liteon one, although the liteon is supposed to use a max3232 for lower voltages, this kit may work too.

Cheers mate but i could not get it to work with a max 232, got a max3232 on its way, think i am doing something else wrong though...lol
